Enter the new and exciting world of BioPunks, a sci-fi action series that grabs your attention from the first few pages. Based in an altered Los Angeles, California, BioPunks follows the aftermath of three characters, Nya, Kaden, and Otto, who have been altered from their physical disabilities by an exclusive medical experiment referred to as The Restore Program. They and seven additional patients were "cured" of their physical ailments through the surgical installation of a highly invasive synthetic spinal cord replacement called the Spinal Core. Each patient also obtained unique powers and abilities as an unexpected side effect.
Fast forward a year after the program, "Restored Patients," are now pursued by the city after reports claim their Spinal Cores have caused them to evoke extreme violent behavior that seemingly ends with their demise. Nya, Kaden, and Otto are the last known survivors of the program and must join forces to defeat a mysterious evil force seeking to harness the source of their powers, the Spinal Core.
